Our change of mind policy
Get the right items, kick back, and enjoy your purchase. At POLITIX, we are happy to offer an exchange, credit note, or refund, for purchases made in-store or online within the change of mind timeframes listed below:
*Purchases made between Monday 14th December to Friday 25th December may be exchanged/returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Items returned for change of mind within the above timeframes can be returned for an exchange, credit note or refund subject to the following conditions:
- Proof of purchase is accompanied with the returned merchandise;
- The merchandise is unworn, unwashed, unused and in its original condition with all tags intact;
- Items purchased at David Jones are subject to their respective return policies and procedures.
For hygiene reasons, there are no returns or exchanges on the purchase of underwear or swimwear if you have simply changed your mind.
We make every effort, from concept to coat hanger, to ensure that every POLITIX garment meets our high standards.
Our Change of Mind Policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and you have consumer guarantees that cannot be limited by us. If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund, exchange or any drop in value of the product (if you choose to keep it).
If you have purchased a product with a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund replacement. If you purchased a product with a minor fault, we can choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund.

Merchandise returned under consumer guarantees can be returned within a reasonable timeframe subject to proof of purchase. Our customer service team is unable to review any worn or used items via email or phone. All items must be physically returned either via mail or in person in-store to be processed, in accordance with the process detailed below. If you encounter an unusual problem with your product, we’re here to help.
Can I CANCEL OR CHANGE AN ONLINE ORDER?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel or make any amendments to any online orders after your order is placed. Amendments may include but are not limited to:
- Change of delivery address & details
- Change to colours and size
- Adding or removing items
- Applying discounts
- Full order cancellations
Please ensure all details provided are full and correct at the time of order placement.
faulty or damaged items
If you have received a wrong or damaged item contact us ASAP.
If your item appears to be faulty, we can assess this at any standalone POLITIX store (excluding David Jones). Bring your item along with proof of purchase within a reasonable timeframe.

How To Return? (online orders only)
You can return your online purchase for an exchange, credit note or refund within 14 days of the date the order was received. Items must be in original condition (unworn, unwashed, tags intact). There’s two ways to return your online purchase:
1. Return at a POLITIX stand-alone store
Purchases made online can be returned to a POLITIX store (excluding David Jones) within 14 days of receiving your order. See our full Change of Mind Policy for more info, and remember to bring your original Order Confirmation as proof of purchase (print it out or show it on your phone). Find your nearest store here.
Any refund will be processed via the original online payment method. AfterPay and PayPal payments may take up to 7 business days to be processed.
2. Return By Post (online purchases only)
Please note for:
Exchanges - Please ensure you include your completed Returns Form. We will notify you of your tracking number by email once your exchange has been processed. If your exchange request cannot be actioned we will be in touch.
Credit Notes - Online purchases returned By Post will receive an ONLINE store credit. Credit notes are valid for 3 years. Online purchases returned to stores will receive a STORE credit note.
Refunds - If a refund is requested for the return of your online order, it will be processed via the original online payment method. Any promo codes used will not be credited or refunded.
Ensure your return parcel is securely packaged and both the sender's address and POLITIX online return address are clearly displayed on the outside of the parcel. POLITIX will not be liable for any return parcels lost in transit.
Once we receive your return, your return request may take up to 10 business days to be processed.
How To Return? (IN-STORE PURCHASE)
Purchases made at a POLITIX store can be returned to a POLITIX store (excluding David Jones) within 14 days of purchase for an exchange, store credit note or refund. Items must be in original condition (unworn, unwashed, tags intact). See our Change of Mind policy for more info, and remember to bring along your proof of purchase.
Returns By Post are not available for in-store purchases. Instead, find your nearest POLITIX store here.
Items purchased at David Jones are subject to their respective return policies and procedures.
POLITIX layby terms require a non-refundable 20% deposit and full payment within 2 months of entering into the layby agreement.
If you need to return a layby before full payment is made (within 2 months of entering into the layby agreement), you will forfeit the non-refundable 20% layby deposit. Afterpay cannot be used as a form of payment for laybys. Please note laybys can only be made in-store.
IN-STORE GIFT VOUCHERS
POLITIX Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Please note Gift Vouchers can only be used in standalone POLITIX stores (cannot be redeemed in David Jones or Online).
Take care of the original Gift Voucher, as they cannot be reissued and only the original Gift Voucher will be accepted. POLITIX disclaims all responsibility for damaged, lost or stolen Gift Vouchers, which cannot be replaced. Afterpay cannot be used as a form of payment to purchase gift vouchers.
Simply contact us within 30 days of receiving your delivery to arrange an international return. See our Change of Mind Policy for more info.
Please keep in mind International orders cannot be exchanged and will be refunded in full upon return via post.
HOW TO RETURN FROM OUTSIDE AU?
You can return your international online purchases for an online credit note or refund within 30 days of receiving your delivery. Items must be in original condition (unworn, unwashed, tags intact).
Step 1: Contact our online team within 30 days of receiving your delivery.

Step 3: Pack your return securely, including your returns form, and address it to:

Please note that all return postage costs for returned items are at your own expense. Goods are your responsibility until they reach us, so make sure it's packaged securely and obtain tracking information when posting. Any duties and taxes you may have paid in placing the original order will not be reimbursed.
