Designed by us - a closer look at our product this season

It’s time for us to open the cupboard, pull back the curtain, and take a deep dive into our world. At Politix, we live and breathe design, working (well if you can call it that) around the clock to bring to you – our customers the clothes that you will love as much as we do. There are some things you might already know about us, like our fabrics are exclusive, or that we design all of our prints in-house - right here in Melbourne and our last fun fact is that our design team are all trained pattern makers in their fields ensuring the right cut from day to night. But we never settle when it comes to bringing you the best clothes, so let’s have a closer look at what’s making us tick in the design room this season.
LOOK GOOD WHILE YOU DO GOOD
It’s so important for us to make garments that are not only going to last, but are helping to support sustainable initiatives within the industry.
We want to make change now, to better the future. We’ve made a conscious choice to expand our use of cotton that supports sustainable farming through the Better Cotton Initiative across more than just shirting, polos, knitwear and tops.
This summer we are introducing it across our denim range which is also blended with polyester/elastane for maximum comfort and shape retention. We have also introduced a number of different shades of denim so now you really can look good and feel good
DESIGNING FROM THE INSIDE OUT
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to design a range that can make a difference.
Our Langstone Jacket & Hyder pant may look like your typical rich navy suit – but it’s definitely not. We aren’t ones to waste, so this suit is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. But it doesn’t stop there, even the lining is made from 100% recycled polyester, which is across all our jackets from suiting to casual blazers and utility styles.
Ensuring we are doing our bit to make our product greener isn’t where we finish. We need to make sure you look the part too.
From contrast lining colours and prints, to multiple buttons designed specifically by us we carefully select each one to create a unique look for each piece. We add colour pops through button thread that then match back to pocket linings that can double as a kerchief. You’ll never look boring with all these added extras.
DENIM THAT MOVES WITH YOU
Denim is a staple in every guys wardrobe but it shouldn’t be stiff. That’s where we come in.
Working with some of the best denim mills in China, we’ve created super soft, elastane rich denim fabric that has the wear and tear of a true denim house, but the added comfort of tailoring powerhouse.
In our go to slim fit shape, we’ve designed a range of denim pieces to cover every look. From black, dark indigo to grey and vintage washes these jeans will age with grace over time like a good whiskey. Make sure you check out the range of new bold colours in Newtown and Kennard. You won’t regret it.
With triple stitch details and tacking at stress points to ensure they stand the test of time with no blow outs. Our signature blend of cotton, polyester and viscose stops balling and pilling. And the most important part is that super soft stretch, made to move with you you’ll be comfortable in this range while looking good.

He has always been fascinated with how a creative outlook affects people's lives. A great song. An inspired building. Brad love's to push the boundaries.
